SLEEPY ATTENDS THE GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS AND GOES HOME WITH THE STARS
The award winning children's book "The Sleepy Little Star" adds a unique "glow" to celebrity gift baskets
SANTA CLARITA, CA (January 26, 2004): The Sleepy Little Star, an award winning children's book, published by Kymzinn, Inc. was selected, along with 22 other elite companies to grace the 2004 Golden Globe Presenter Gift baskets. 65 celebrity presenters received an autographed copy, along with a coordinating night light and plush hand puppet at this year's Golden Globe Awards ceremony on Sunday, January 25, 2004. Each of the gift baskets included over $26,000 in luxury items, hand picked by the Hollywood Forein Press Association and InStyle.
"I'm delighted and honored to have my book selected for this prestigous event, especially with the surge in celebrity babies," says author Kymberli Brady. "Coming on the heels of having received the Benjamin Franklin Book of the Year Award, I couldn't be more thrilled with its "glowing" success. With all the elaborate jewelry, bags and spa vacations offered in this year's selection, this offers the celebrities something to pull out of their "goodie basket" for their kids when they return home--it solves the 'what did you bring' me dilemma that we parents invariably face the moment we walk in the door."
Along with The Sleepy Little Star, nestled in handmade Steamer Trunks specially created for Golden Globes baskets this year were Ritani Diamond Butterfly Necklaces, Stuart Weitzman shoes, Mikimoto Pearl earrings, Evolution Surfboards, Givenchi Mini Pumpkin Leather totes, Hotel & Spa Packages, Bella Pooch Pet Gift Packages, Clive Christian "Most Expensive Perfume in the World," Donna Karan Velvet Quilts, and Nintendo Game Cubes, among others.
Among this year's Golden Globe Award presenters were Halle Berry, Robin Williams, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ellen DeGeneres, Brad Pitt, Uma Thurman, Nicole Kidman, Jack Nicholson, Melanie Griffith, Keanu Reeves, Meryl Streep, Robin Williams, Kim Cattrall, and Renee Zellweger.
"This was a special event for me," adds Brady, whose father, Gene Weed directed the Golden Globe Awards for 18 years before his passing. "He was the inspiration for the Papa Moon character in the book and his memory will live on in its pages."
