Sleepy of The Sleepy Little Star, a bright new children's book by local author Kymberli W. Brady will be the official sponsor of the St. Stephen's Episcopal School Festival on May 31, 2002 in San Jose, California.
The Festival is an annual fund-raiser for St. Stephen's School and will include a walk-a-thon, games, activities, raffles and a special appearance by Sharkie of the San Jose Sharks. Each of the 260 children involved will be given a T-Shirt bearing Sleepy's likeness on the back. Additional T-Shirts will be sold at the event.
Brady will be on hand at the festival to introduce Sleepy and his story to all in attendance. Additionally, copies of The Sleepy Little Star, along with matching nightlights will be donated as raffle prizes.
In addition to full page, full color advertising on the back cover of the program and ordering information on the inside front cover, KRTY and KLIV Radio stations will air 20 second spots mentioning The Sleepy Little Star 2-3 times per day simultaneously for 2 weeks prior to the festival.
