Publishers Marketing Association has just announced that The Sleepy Little Star has been named as one of three finalists in the 2003 Benjamin Franklin Awards competition for "Book of the Year for Excellence & Innovation in Marketing."

Named in honor of America's most cherished publisher/printer, the Benjamin Franklin Award recognizes excellence in independent publishing. Publications, grouped by genre are judged on editorial and design merit by top practitioners in each field. This years trophies are awarded to the best books in several categories and will be presented during a gala awards ceremony on Wednesday evening, May 28, 2003 at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles prior to the opening of Book Expo America

The Sleepy Little Star is the recipient of the Pinnacle Book Achievement Award for Children's Literature and has received rave reviews and celebrity endorsements. A coordinating Sleepy nightlight is also available "for the glow that lasts long after the story's been read." Plush Sleepy and Papa Moon characters will be making their debut this summer.

Book Summary:

Sleepy is a stubborn little star who like most little ones, doesn't want to go to sleep at bedtime.
