SLEEPY ATTENDS THE ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS IN LAS VEGAS AND GOES HOME WITH THE STARS
The award winning children's book, "The Sleepy Little Star," matching nightlight and hand puppet adds a unique "glow" to celebrity gift baskets

SANTA CLARITA, CA (May 26, 2004): Author Kymberli W. Brady was on hand at the 39th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards to personally sign copies of The Sleepy Little Star, a two-time award winning children's book to celebrities backstage, as well as music and television industry executives prior to the live telecast.

49 celebrity presenters and performers received an autographed copy of The Sleepy Little Star, along with a coordinating nightlight and plush hand puppet - new this year. Among those receiving the unique gift sets were Charlie Daniels, Martina McBride, Alabama, LeAnn Rimes, Clint Black, Toby Keith, Terri Clark, Penn and Teller, Lonestar, Trick Pony, Sara Evans, Brad Paisley, Montgomery Gentry, Rascal Flatts, Deane Carter, The Warren Brothers, Dan Tyminski, Sasha Alexander, Big & Rich, Lance Burton, Kellie Coffee, Eric Close, Bill Engvall, Kevin Carter, Eddie George, Buddy Jewell, Tracy Lawrence, Cletus T. Judd, Emily Proctor, Julie Roberts, Michelle Stanford, Randy Travis, Karri Turner, Jaci Velasque, Diamond Rio, and Jimmy Wayne.

"We all love your book," writes Brett Warren of the Warren Brothers. "Me and my whole redneck family!"

Among the "glowing" endorsements she has received for her delightful bedtime story, including Reba McEntire, Ann Jillian and the Warren Brothers, Brady feels that the recent surge in celebrity babies offers an exciting opportunity to send something unique home for their little ones.

"I'm delighted and honored to have my book selected for this prestigious event," says Brady. "This offers the celebrities something to pull out of their "goodie bags" for their kids when they return home--it solves the 'what did you bring' me dilemma that we parents invariably face the moment we walk in the front door."

"This was a special event for me," adds Brady, whose father, Gene Weed created, directed and produced the Academy of Country Music Awards until his passing three years ago. "He was the inspiration for the Papa Moon character in the book and his memory will live on in its pages."
